For over 100 years, Congregation Beth Emeth has been, and continues to be, an important center to the Jewish community of Delaware and the surrounding area. We are a Reform Congregation whose mission is to enrich the lives of our members and our community by teaching, learning, and rejoicing in our Jewish ideals and traditions.

Memorialize and honor your loved ones

If you’re looking for a terrific and lasting Chanukah gift, a Bar or Bat Mitzvah gift, a Confirmation present, a gift to commemorate a birth, or if you’re interested in making an end-of-year donation, Congregation Beth Emeth’s program to purchase bricks on our premises is tailor-made for you.

You can memorialize loved ones on bricks in the Holocaust Garden or you can honor children, grandchildren, spouses, friends, and relatives in the brick pathway in front of the Temple. Each brick costs $150; each brick can hold three lines of text (including spaces) of 16 characters per line. That’s a lot of love for a small but ever-lasting piece of real-estate.

Get a brick form at the Temple or click here to print one out and mail in your order. There is no limit to the number of bricks you can buy. Contact Brian Gluck at be_brick@bethemethde.org with any questions. This program is on-going; however, we need a minimum of 50 bricks to place an order with the contractor for engraving and setting. More info.
