Endowment Committee

The investment objective of the Endowment Fund is the preservation and long term growth of the purchasing power of the Congregation's Investment Fund, using a total return approach (principle + income) that takes advantage of the Congregation's tax exempt status.

Purpose

Provide Beth Emeth with resources for:

  • Capital improvements
  • Scholarships: religious school, summer camps, trips, study in Israel
  • Special programs: adult education, music programs

We encourage everyone to consider establishing Funds in honor or memory of a loved one, or leaving a legacy (money, stocks, property, etc.).  Current laws enable taxpayers to improve their financial situation through charitable gifting.

What is even more rewarding is the knowledge that with a gift to the Congregation, whether through a bequest or a lifetime gift, you will secure the future of our Congregation.  We need the resources to plant the seeds for our children and grandchildren to carry on our tradition in the 21st century.
