Consider, with the Rabbi and Cantor, all matters relating to the ritual and music of the congregation and make recommendations to the board of trustees.
Appoint ushers for all Shabbat evening services and for all High Holy Day services.
Work with clergy and the temple administrator to coordinate all details for the High Holy Days services.
Work with the Cantor to supervise the adult and youth choirs.
Assist the Cantor with planning any musical events, concerts, etc.
Help develop and approve the Cantor’s budget for each fiscal year.
Work with the Cantor to assist the Music Director and is involved with new hires.
