Due to our large membership, we want to ensure that all members will have seating available in the temple sanctuary and social hall. Please remember to bring your tickets to all services. They will be checked at the door. High Holiday tickets are for your family, including your children under the age of 25. They will be mailed to all congregants who have paid at least 50% of their current year dues or have made other arrangements with the office or Finance Committee.
1. High Holiday tickets will be sold for $100 per person per holiday to sustaining members and guests (13 years and older) of members who live more than 50 miles from Beth Emeth. Guest tickets will be free for children under the age of 13. No tickets will be sold to local residents living within a 50-mile radius of Beth Emeth.
2. If you have children over the age of 25, who live in the Wilmington area, and would like to attend services, please contact the temple office and we will be happy to provide them with tickets and a free one-year membership at Congregation Beth Emeth. This offer is good only once per person.
3. College students and military personnel will be provided free tickets for High Holiday services. College students must have the approval of Beth Emeth's administrator, Nancy Mahanna.
4. Free tickets will be provided to out-of-town guests of members, if the guests belong to a synagogue. They need to have their synagogue send Beth Emeth a High Holiday Courtesy form stating that they are a member in good standing. We will include a request for donations with all free tickets.
5. PLEASE NOTE: This year, family services and the late evening Rosh Hashanah service will be open to any member of the local Jewish community who obtains a free ticket from the Beth Emeth office. We will include a request for donations with all free tickets.
6. Yizkor services will be open only to Beth Emeth members or those provided for in #1, 2, 3 & 4 above.
7. Individuals with special situations should contact the chairman of the finance committee, Rich Litwin, or the synagogue president, Jan Goodman. Call the temple office.
